You will build native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to deliver responsive experiences for diverse client businesses.
What you'll work with.
As an Android Developer at TheWebVale, you will construct native Android applications for local service companies, coaching networks, and retail brands. You will use Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to build modern screens, integrate background services, and ensure device compatibility. You will collaborate with backend engineers and UI designers throughout our two-to-three week release cycles. You will write clean, idiomatic Kotlin code and optimize applications across various Android hardware configurations.

Develop native Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android SDKs.
Implement clean architecture patterns including MVVM and repository structures.
Connect mobile screens to backend REST APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, and Kotlin Coroutines.
Manage local data persistence using Room database and encrypted shared preferences.
Test application layouts across diverse screen sizes, resolutions, and Android versions.
Prepare release bundles and assist with Google Play Console submission processes.

Hold 2–4 years of dedicated native Android software development experience.
Demonstrate strong proficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio.
Understand Android lifecycle management, ViewModel state, and dependency injection.
Show practical experience working with Room DB, Coroutines, and Flow.
Possess familiarity with Git version control and Android build tools like Gradle.
Communicate project updates and device-specific quirks clearly to the team.
