About the role
As a Senior AI Engineer at TheWebVale, you will lead the architecture of our most ambitious artificial intelligence projects. You will design autonomous multi-agent workflows, private model deployments, and knowledge retrieval architectures for legal firms, healthcare practices, and educational institutions.
You will work directly with our founder to evaluate technical feasibility and scope AI proposals during our two-to-three week sprint cadences. You will mentor engineers, establish testing guardrails, and ensure clients own verifiable, production-hardened AI software.
What you will do
- Architect production AI systems combining language models, vector indexes, and business logic.
- Design autonomous agent coordination patterns with structured tool-calling and recovery loops.
- Establish studio-wide evaluation frameworks for accuracy, latency, and token cost tracking.
- Lead technical reviews of AI pull requests and mentor engineers on prompt and pipeline safety.
- Implement privacy guardrails to redact sensitive personal data before model inference.
- Advise client executive teams on AI feasibility, data requirements, and architectural trade-offs.
What you will need
- Possess 5+ years of software development experience with extensive artificial intelligence focus.
- Demonstrate deep mastery of Python, async programming, and modern machine learning ecosystems.
- Show a strong track record of architecting and deploying production AI systems at scale.
- Understand vector indexing mechanics, token economics, and model fine-tuning trade-offs.
- Exhibit proven ability to mentor developers and establish rigorous testing standards.
- Communicate complex AI concepts with clarity to both technical and executive audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying open-source models on private GPU servers using vLLM or TensorRT-LLM.
- Familiarity with LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen multi-agent frameworks.
- Knowledge of parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques like LoRA and QLoRA.
