About the role
As a Product Design Intern at TheWebVale, you will gain hands-on experience designing real digital products for client businesses. You will help create UI screens, organize Figma component libraries, and prepare assets for healthcare clinics, schools, and retail brands.
You will be paired with senior designers throughout our regular two-to-three week release cycles. You will receive structured design feedback, learn studio design system standards, and see your work published in live client products.
What you will do
- Create UI screen variations and responsive mockups in Figma under senior direction.
- Assist in organizing Figma component libraries, text styles, and color variables.
- Prepare and export optimized SVG, PNG, and WebP assets for engineering handoff.
- Create simple interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flow transitions.
- Participate actively in design critique sessions and take notes to learn studio habits.
- Observe client review meetings to understand how design decisions are communicated.
What you will need
- Be a current student or recent graduate in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of UI/UX design principles and visual hierarchy.
- Show basic familiarity with Figma, including vector tools, frames, and layers.
- Possess a portfolio or course project samples showing layout taste and typography care.
- Bring strong visual curiosity, willingness to learn, and openness to design feedback.
- Communicate ideas clearly and demonstrate disciplined organization with design files.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with auto-layout and components in Figma.
- Basic understanding of responsive web design and mobile app screens.
- Interest in branding, typography pairing, or micro-animations.
