About the role
As an Interaction Designer at TheWebVale, you will define how our web and mobile applications respond to user touch, clicks, and scroll gestures. You will design subtle animations and responsive feedback states for education platforms, e-commerce stores, and booking tools.
You will collaborate closely with UI designers and frontend developers during our two-to-three week shipping cycles. You will build interactive prototypes with realistic physics, ensuring transitions feel snappy without hindering interface speed.
What you will do
- Design fluid micro-interactions, button state responses, and loading indicators in Figma.
- Build high-fidelity motion prototypes using tools like ProtoPie, Rive, or Figma interactive components.
- Define easing curves, durations, and choreography for page transitions and modal reveals.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to specify animation parameters using Framer Motion or CSS.
- Conduct usability reviews to ensure animations feel swift and do not introduce interaction lag.
- Document interaction specifications and state change matrices for developer reference.
What you will need
- Hold 2–4 years of experience specializing in interaction design or digital motion design.
- Demonstrate mastery of interaction prototyping tools such as ProtoPie, Figma, or Rive.
- Show a portfolio displaying subtle, purposeful motion that enhances interface usability.
- Understand timing, easing curves, spatial relationships, and tactile feedback principles.
- Possess working knowledge of frontend animation technologies like CSS transitions and Framer Motion.
- Communicate motion rationale and implementation specs clearly to engineering teammates.
Nice to have
- Experience creating interactive Lottie animations using After Effects or LottieLab.
- Familiarity with mobile gesture mechanics on iOS and Android platforms.
- Basic coding skills in JavaScript, React, or modern CSS.
