About the role
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at TheWebVale, you will lead the architecture of our most demanding client platforms, including multi-tenant SaaS tools and comprehensive school ERPs. You will make key structural decisions across frontend component trees, API contracts, and database topologies.
You will work directly with our founder and guide junior engineers throughout our two-to-three week release cycles. You will conduct architecture reviews, champion code craftsmanship, and make sure that clients receive modular codebases they own completely.
What you will do
- Architect scalable full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Design normalized relational data models and document stores for business workflows.
- Lead technical scoping sessions and author architecture proposals for new clients.
- Conduct structured code reviews to ensure studio coding standards and security.
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers through paired programming and technical workshops.
- Establish continuous integration pipelines and automated quality checks.
What you will need
- Possess 5+ years of software engineering experience across frontend and backend stacks.
- Demonstrate deep mastery of TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js server architectures.
- Show extensive experience modeling complex data workflows in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Understand distributed systems, caching layers, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Exhibit a strong track record of mentoring teammates and improving code quality.
- Communicate complex technical trade-offs clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with monorepo architectures using Turborepo or Nx.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments using Docker and cloud platforms.
- Background in building multi-tenant SaaS applications or billing portals.
