Mobile QA Engineer
You will build automated mobile test suites and conduct device lab testing to ensure stable releases across Android and iOS devices.
What you'll work with.
As a Mobile QA Engineer at TheWebVale, you will verify the quality, performance, and stability of our mobile products. You will test client applications across physical smartphones, tablets, and emulators, ensuring healthcare and education apps operate reliably. You will collaborate closely with mobile developers and our founder throughout our two-to-three week release cadences. You will catch regressions early, validate native permissions, and ensure flawless store update releases.

Design and execute test plans covering mobile functional journeys and native interactions.
Build automated mobile test suites using tools like Appium or Maestro.
Perform hands-on testing across a variety of real Android and iOS smartphones.
Validate application behavior under poor network conditions, interruptions, and low memory.
Document actionable bug reports with screen recordings, logs, and reproduction steps.
Verify app compliance with Apple and Google store guidelines before submission.
What we look for.

Possess 2–4 years of quality assurance experience focused on mobile applications.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with mobile testing tools like Appium, Maestro, or Detox.
Show familiarity with both Android (ADB, logcat) and iOS (Xcode console) debugging tools.
Understand mobile permission systems, push notification flows, and offline states.
Possess strong analytical curiosity and meticulous attention to detail.
Communicate test findings and stability risks clearly to mobile developers.
