About the role
As a UI Engineer at TheWebVale, you will translate Figma designs into production code with obsessive attention to typography, alignment, and spacing. You will build user-facing screens for coaching centers, retail brands, and service businesses.
You will act as the bridge between visual design and frontend architecture, collaborating closely with both teams. We ship in disciplined two-to-three week release windows, providing room for creative problem-solving and visual polish.
What you will do
- Transform Figma layouts into pixel-perfect, responsive React and Next.js interfaces.
- Implement responsive CSS layouts using modern Flexbox, Grid, and container queries.
- Craft fluid UI micro-interactions, hover states, and smooth transitions.
- Maintain design consistency across buttons, inputs, modals, and typography tokens.
- Ensure keyboard focus indicators and contrast ratios meet accessibility criteria.
- Work alongside product designers to refine interaction states and edge-case screens.
What you will need
- Hold 2–4 years of experience as a UI engineer or visual frontend developer.
- Show exceptional mastery of modern CSS, Tailwind CSS, and HTML5 semantics.
- Demonstrate fluency with React, TypeScript, and modern component composition.
- Exhibit a discerning eye for typography, whitespace, shadows, and subtle motion.
- Comfort inspecting design files in Figma, extracting tokens, and assets.
- Possess strong collaboration skills and openness to creative feedback.
Nice to have
- Experience with Framer Motion or GSAP for web animations.
- Familiarity with Radix UI, Headless UI, or Shadcn UI component primitives.
- Understanding of SVG manipulation and canvas-based micro-visuals.
