About the role
As a Frontend Stylist / CSS Specialist at TheWebVale, you will turn design dreams into fluid web realities for boutique brands, schools, and commercial clients. You will write clean, scalable CSS and craft delightful micro-interactions that make client platforms feel polished.
You will collaborate closely with visual designers and frontend engineers to implement motion and layout fidelity. In our two-to-three week shipping cadence, you will ensure our frontends stand out visually while maintaining fast load times.
What you will do
- Write modular, scalable CSS and Tailwind utility classes for complex web interfaces.
- Build fluid transitions, scroll triggers, and SVG micro-interactions with CSS and JS.
- Ensure responsive layout harmony across diverse viewport dimensions and devices.
- Implement dark and light theme tokens, custom variables, and typography scales.
- Debug tricky cross-browser CSS rendering bugs on desktop and mobile browsers.
- Collaborate with brand designers to ensure strict adherence to visual style guides.
What you will need
- Have 2–4 years of experience specializing in advanced web styling and UI animation.
- Exhibit comprehensive mastery of modern CSS specifications, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Tailwind CSS, custom plugins, and theme configurations.
- Show comfort working with React, Next.js, and component-based styling structures.
- Possess a deep appreciation for typographic hierarchy, layout rhythm, and pacing.
- Work iteratively with designers to adjust visual nuances and interaction details.
Nice to have
- Experience with Framer Motion, GSAP, or Lenis smooth scrolling.
- Knowledge of CSS container queries and subgrid implementations.
- Familiarity with SVG animation and Canvas micro-effects.
