About the role
As a Frontend QA Specialist at TheWebVale, you will protect client web interfaces from regressions, layout breaks, and functional errors. You will validate web applications for medical clinics, coaching institutes, and e-commerce stores before they touch production.
You will work hand-in-hand with frontend developers and product owners to automate test coverage inside our two-to-three week release cycles. You will ensure clients receive dependable, thoroughly tested software with zero surprises.
What you will do
- Build and maintain automated frontend test suites using Playwright or Cypress.
- Implement visual regression tests to catch unintended UI layout shifts and styling bugs.
- Write component integration tests using Vitest and React Testing Library.
- Perform manual exploratory testing on complex user flows and checkout funnels.
- Maintain bug tracking logs with actionable reproduction steps and video recordings.
- Validate client-side form validations, error boundaries, and network failure states.
What you will need
- Hold 2–4 years of software testing experience with a frontend specialization.
- Show hands-on experience using modern test frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Jest.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of React component architecture and DOM behavior.
- Understand how to test responsive web applications across multiple viewports.
- Possess strong analytical curiosity and a systematic approach to finding defects.
- Communicate test outcomes and risk assessments clearly to engineering teammates.
Nice to have
- Experience testing complex single-page apps with sophisticated state management.
- Familiarity with visual testing platforms like Percy, Chromatic, or Applitools.
- Knowledge of CI integration using GitHub Actions for automated test runs.
