About the role
As a Senior Full-Stack Platform Engineer at TheWebVale, you will build the foundational developer tooling, monorepo setups, and deployment platforms used across our studio. You will streamline how we develop, test, and ship software for our diverse business clients.
You will collaborate directly with our founder and senior engineers to remove delivery bottlenecks in our two-to-three week sprint cycles. You will ensure our internal infrastructure empowers engineers to write and ship clean code rapidly.
What you will do
- Architect and maintain studio monorepo workspaces using Turborepo and npm.
- Design automated CI/CD workflows for linting, testing, building, and deployments.
- Standardize containerized development environments using Docker and Docker Compose.
- Create reusable scaffolding CLI tools and starter templates for client projects.
- Monitor build times, test durations, and deployment success metrics across the studio.
- Mentor developers on Git workflows, container standards, and deployment hygiene.
What you will need
- Have 5+ years of software development experience with platform and DevOps focus.
- Demonstrate mastery of TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web application stacks.
- Show extensive experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Possess deep practical knowledge of Docker, container registries, and Linux systems.
- Understand monorepo dependency graphs, task caching, and workspace tooling.
- Communicate infrastructure decisions and developer experience improvements clearly.
Nice to have
- Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
- Familiarity with cloud edge platforms on Cloudflare, Vercel, or AWS.
- Knowledge of automated dependency management and security vulnerability patching.
