About the role
As a Mobile App Developer at TheWebVale, you will build native-feeling mobile applications for clinics, education providers, and direct-to-consumer retail brands. You will create smooth mobile interfaces, manage offline data storage, and integrate push notification services.
You will collaborate closely with UI designers and backend engineers in two-to-three week shipping cycles. You will ensure applications meet mobile performance standards and are prepared for store review.
What you will do
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Build responsive mobile user interfaces following iOS and Android design guidelines.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend RESTful APIs and authentication flows.
- Implement offline data storage and caching using SQLite, MMKV, or AsyncStorage.
- Configure push notifications, camera permissions, and native hardware features.
- Prepare mobile builds and coordinate app submission passes for the app stores.
What you will need
- Hold 2–4 years of experience building production mobile apps with React Native.
- Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React component lifecycles.
- Understand mobile UI conventions, touch gestures, and responsive screen scaling.
- Show practical experience connecting mobile apps to REST APIs and handling errors.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like React Native Debugger and Flipper.
- Communicate technical challenges and platform differences clearly to the team.
Nice to have
- Experience with Expo and EAS (Expo Application Services) workflows.
- Familiarity with native code bridging in Swift or Kotlin.
- Knowledge of in-app purchases and subscription payment flows.
