About the role
As a Senior Mobile Engineer at TheWebVale, you will lead the architecture of our mobile product portfolio. You will design mobile frameworks for healthcare apps, educational tools, and field management solutions, ensuring memory efficiency, smooth 60fps rendering, and stability.
You will work directly with our founder and guide mobile engineers throughout our two-to-three week release cadences. You will oversee code signing, store approvals, and technical reviews, ensuring clients receive top-tier mobile software.
What you will do
- Architect cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, or native code.
- Design offline-first data architectures with conflict resolution and background sync.
- Lead technical reviews of mobile code to maintain high code quality and test coverage.
- Mentor mobile developers on state architecture, memory profiling, and gesture handling.
- Oversee automated mobile CI/CD pipelines, code signing, and store deployments.
- Collaborate with backend architects to align mobile network contracts and payloads.
What you will need
- Possess 5+ years of software development experience with extensive mobile engineering focus.
- Demonstrate deep mastery of React Native, TypeScript, and native mobile principles.
- Show a track record of deploying and maintaining live apps on Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Understand mobile memory management, battery optimization, and background tasks.
- Exhibit strong mentorship capabilities and clear technical communication skills.
- Lead constructive code reviews and establish technical standards across projects.
Nice to have
- Experience writing native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) modules.
- Familiarity with automated mobile testing tools like Maestro or Appium.
- Knowledge of mobile analytics, crash reporting tools, and A/B test setups.
