About the role
As a Cross-Platform Mobile Developer at TheWebVale, you will engineer mobile software using frameworks like React Native and Flutter. You will build versatile apps for schools, clinics, and e-commerce companies, delivering feature parity across iOS and Android.
You will collaborate with backend engineers and product designers in our standard two-to-three week delivery cycles. You will ensure shared business logic remains maintainable while adapting interfaces to feel natural on each native platform.
What you will do
- Build cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android with maximum code sharing.
- Develop custom native bridge modules in Swift or Kotlin when required.
- Integrate third-party mobile SDKs for analytics, payments, and push notifications.
- Ensure visual consistency while adhering to platform-specific navigation patterns.
- Conduct performance profiling to ensure smooth scroll rates and fast launch times.
- Coordinate automated mobile builds and deployment pipelines for beta testers.
What you will need
- Possess 3–5 years of mobile engineering experience with cross-platform frameworks.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in React Native (TypeScript) or Flutter (Dart).
- Show practical experience bridging native iOS and Android code with shared layers.
- Understand mobile state management, persistent storage, and background processing.
- Exhibit proven ability to diagnose and fix platform-specific mobile bugs.
- Communicate project progress and release timelines clearly to team members.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with both React Native and Flutter frameworks.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD tools like Fastlane or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth LE or camera hardware integration.
