About the role
As a Mobile UI Engineer at TheWebVale, you will bring mobile interface designs to life with exceptional visual fidelity and responsiveness. You will build user-facing screens for consumer apps, booking platforms, and learning portals, focusing on touch feedback and motion.
You will work in close partnership with product designers and mobile developers during our two-to-three week shipping cycles. You will ensure transitions feel natural and layouts adapt gracefully to various screen ratios and notches.
What you will do
- Implement pixel-perfect mobile user interfaces from Figma designs using React Native or Flutter.
- Craft fluid micro-interactions, spring animations, and swipe gestures.
- Ensure mobile interfaces adapt gracefully to varied screen aspect ratios and notches.
- Implement accessible contrast ratios, scalable font sizing, and touch target sizes.
- Maintain mobile UI component libraries and design token synchronization.
- Collaborate with visual designers to refine transition curves and edge-case layouts.
What you will need
- Hold 2–4 years of experience specializing in mobile user interface engineering.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with React Native or Flutter styling frameworks.
- Show expertise with gesture handler libraries and mobile animation engines.
- Exhibit a keen eye for spacing, typography, and tactile interaction feedback.
- Comfort inspecting Figma files and extracting design tokens and assets.
- Communicate UI implementation trade-offs collaboratively with designers.
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native Reanimated or Flutter animation controllers.
- Familiarity with Lottie mobile vector animations.
- Understanding of dark mode theming and platform-specific styling nuances.
